The SE trim features: 18-inch machined aluminum-alloy wheels; LED headlights with AFS (Adaptive Front-lighting System); LED taillights with animation; power-adjustable, manual-folding, heated side mirrors with auto-dim feature on driver’s side; a power liftgate with Easy Open and Close; and black roof rails. Moving into the cabin, the second-generation Atlas showcases significant upgrades in interior quality, equipment, and materials, as well as a more modern, elegant design. Real wood décor graces the cockpit, along with 10-color ambient lighting. Paddle shifters on the steering wheel for Tiptronic® manual gear selection are standard on all Atlas models.
The Atlas SE model is fitted with Volkswagen’s 10.25-inch Digital Cockpit Pro configurable gauge cluster and a 12.9-inch central infotainment display. The new Driver Experience Dial on the center console lets you easily adjust volume, drive modes, and the Atmospheres feature. This combines the ambient light and audio settings to enable occupants to tailor the vehicle’s mood to their preferences. Up to five preset Atmospheres are available, as well as a custom selection.
The entry Atlas features a 9-speaker sound system; Sirius XM® Satellite Radio; HD radio; natural voice control; a total of seven USB-C charging ports; Bluetooth®; and wireless App-Connect. For model year 2027, premium connected vehicle services enabled by myVW+ will be bundled together in one In-Vehicle Premium subscription for increased convenience. Atlas includes a three-month trial of In-Vehicle Premium, which includes:
- Premium Navigation that includes Real-Time Traffic and online Points of Interest
- Premium Speech that incorporates generative AI
- Premium Radio that allows access to more than 30,000 radio stations and more than 1 million podcasts
- Wi-Fi hotspot capability that can connect up to four devices
